While many of you will already be aware that Dubrovnik’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, you may not know that of the eight Croatian sites on the list, seven are of cultural importance.
Alongside Dubrovnik on the list of 981 World Heritage sites are these Croatian sites:
- Historical Complex of Split with the Palace of Diocletian
- Plitvice Lakes National Park #
- Episcopal Complex of the Euphrasian Basilica in the Historic Centre of Poreč
- Historic City of Trogir
- The Cathedral of St James in Šibenik
- Stari Grad Plain
