Croatia’s first female president sworn in!

Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic became the first Croatian president after the ceremony at the St Mark’s Square in Zagreb. She was named president by the President of the Constitutional Court, Jasna Omejec, from whom Grabar KItarovic received the presidential sash. After that, she paid tribute to the national flag and held her inauguration speech. With her first public speech, Croatian new president touched all the present but also all those who followed the ceremony on a TV screen. The ceremony was attended by hundreds of Croatians and top local officials as well as presidents of several regional nations.
