A new exhibition at Marin Drzic House in Dubrovnik’s Old Town showcases the work of artist Dubravko Kastrapeli.
The exhibition titled ‘The Heart Is Carried Before The Eyes’ opened on Wednesday night and is comprised of mainly pastel illustrations of characters from Croatian literature including Marin Drzic’s works; Tirena, Dundo Maroje and The Miser.
The exhibition has revived Croatian literary history from the time of the Dubrovnik Republic and translated into a new visual form that is accessible in our age. If you want to learn more about Croatian literature and Dubrovnik’s rich history in the field then be sure to visit this museum.
Marin Drzic House is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10 am until 6 pm. You can find more information on their website.
