Archbishop Cardinal Vinko Puljic led the final celebration of the 300th anniversary of Dubrovnik’s baroque cathedral on Sunday.
After the Eucharistic celebration, people in the Old Town had the opportunity to see and participate in the procession of believers through the city, which took the same route as that for the Feast of St.Blaise. A special feature of this procession was the completely restored image of Our Lady of Porat which led the crowd, which otherwise can only be seen on a short route from the cathedral to the city’s harbour. This time she went from the Cathedral to Ulica od Puca, the Stradun and then back to Dubrovnik cathedral dedicated to the Assumption of Mary.
