DuRun10K, New Year’s Street Race was held today on Stradun at 2 pm with more than 70 runners.
This is the third year of DuRun10k, and every time, athletes from different countries come to be a part of this unique sporting event.
This year’s winners are Hillary Kiptum Maiyo Kimaiyo from Kenia and as the fastest lady Olivera Jevtić from Serbia.

– We have thought of adding some athletic fun to the good time. The idea was readily accepted by the City of Dubrovnik and its Tourist Board, to which we extend our sincere gratitude – organizers wrote on their web page.
The third edition of New Year’s DuRun10K begun with on stage the runners – members of the world Peace Run Organization and their Torch for Peace in the World.This time the honor of lighting the Torch was bestowed upon athlete from Dubrovnik, mr. Mihovil Spanja, swimmer, paraolympic golden medals and world record holder.
