Tonight sees the official start of the festival season which will take us up to the festival of St. Blaise (Dubrovnik’s patron saint) on February 3rd. Festa od Klapa, or Festival of Klapa at the Marin Drzic Theatre at 8 pm tonight launches the program of events. Fourteen klapa vocal groups will perform at the event, most of them from the Dubrovnik region. The calibre of performances is set to be high as most of the groups are big award winners at national level so visitors will not be disappointed. Tickets can be purchased from the theatre ticket office or on the door, though this is likely to be a sell out event.
