Agroturizam Konavle organizes a manifestation of traditional grape harvesting called ‘Trganje 2017’, which will be held on Friday, September 15th, in the complex of the Franciscan monastery of Sv. Blaise in Pridvorje.
According to the program of the event, from 2 to 3 pm the grape harvest is planned in the monastery vineyard. From 3 to 4 pm the grapes will be processed in a traditional and modern manner in the cloister of the monastery, and from 4 to 6 pm an traditional lunch for all visitors and a live entertainment program music and folklore performances will be held.
On this occasion, the old customs will be revived and the traditional way of living will be presented to all the visitors. Wine makers will join forces to make one traditional altar wine.
As part of this year’s event, the project ‘Poje – a torn piece of Konavle’ will be promoted. Its first phase, the exhibition of photographs of young Konavle photographers Nino Đuraš and Toni Mostahinić (the author of the exhibition is Olja Ljubišić) will be presented this Friday. The end of the presented project will be on this year’s ‘Scent of Christmas’.
