The year is 1976 and the Hotel Libertas is one of the top hotels not only in Dubrovnik but the entire former Yugoslavia. This promotional video will bring back many happy memories of a time gone by and wonderful holidays spent in Dubrovnik all those years ago.
Famous Croatian actor Relja Basic stars in the video which comes in two parts, presenting the cult hotel (and Dubrovnik) in all its glory prior to the Serbo-Chetnik attack on it in 1991. Now fully renovated and restored, the hotel forms part of the Turkish Rixos group of hotels and is known as the Hotel Rixos Libertas.
