José Feliciano world acclaimed musician, today arrived in Dubrovnik. The best contemporary guitar player will play at two concerts, on Friday and Saturday.
A big concert will be held on Saturday in front of the cathedral accompanied by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and conducted by maestro Michael Kissinger; the concert is dedicated to the local citizens and international audience.The exclusive VIP concert hosted by Dubrovnik Sun Gardens company will be held on Friday, 26th September. José Feliciano, acclaimed by music critics as ‘The greatest living guitarist’, will be the main star of the fourth Dubrovnik International Wine & Jazz Festival.
José Feliciano, many-times Grammy laureate, was born blind in Puerto Rico being the first Latin American to capture the English music market. Among his greatest hits are ‘Che serà’, the song performed in 1971 in San Remo when he conquered the European market, and ‘Feliz Navidad’, one of the most frequently performed Holiday Season songs to this day.
