Lesic Dimitri Palace is one of two places in Croatia that have been selected to host the event called The Global Party 2014 (www.theglobalparty.com) as part of a series of charity events that will take place worldwide during September.
Lesic Dimitri Palace will host two charity dinners, on the 10th and 12th of September after which there will be concerts of Korkyra Baroque Festival starting at 9 pm. On September 19th at 9 pm the Wine Fairy manifestation will be held in collaboration with Maximilian Garden lounge & beach bar.
Guests will be served a menu of four courses designed by Toni Erceg, head chef at the LD restaurant. During the dinner guests will receive a ticket for the Korkyra Baroque Festival concert which is scheduled after dinner at 9 pm. On the concert on September 10th the vocal ensemble Antiphonus will perform with famous Russian violinist Dmitry Sinkovsky. After the second dinner on September 12th, the guests will enjoy the performance of the famous Italian ensemble La Venexiana and soprano Emmanuelle Galli. Dinner price will be 350 kuna.
The Wine Fairy Tale will be held in the beautiful region of the Austro – Hungarian villa Maximilian. It will serve the best wine from local producers, and Lesic Dimitri and Maximilian Garden will provide a selection of cold meats, cheeses, olives and other local specialties. With all that, the guests will enjoy ‘a capella’ singing and relaxing music afterwards. Ticket price for this event is 100 kuna.
The Global Party was first organized in 2011 in 73 cities around the world, but in 2013 the number of host cities of the event grew to 143. In 2014 The Global Party events will take place in September in collaboration with art galleries, restaurants, bars, clubs, luxury yachts and hotels.
Donations will be given to the Association League Against Cancer Korcula-Peljesac-Mljet Lastovo – organization which is active in the local community and provides information and assistance to individuals, with regard to the risk of, prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.
