New York Times: 36 hours in Dubrovnik

American travel journalist Charly Wilder wrote a column for New York Times named „36 Hours in Dubrovnik, Croatia“.

„Dubrovnik is no longer anyone’s best-kept secret“, starts Wilder with her first impressions of Dubrovnik, and continues: „Dubrovnik is gridlocked with tourists during the summer. Yet go in the fall and you’ll quickly see what the fuss is about. Many businesses unabashedly cater to cruise ship passengers, but there are plenty of creative local standouts.“

Within the 36-hour framework, the author recommends what to do and see in Dubrovnik: the cable car ride, tasting of local wine and specialties, shopping and the most beautiful sunset are just some of the must-dos in Dubrovnik.

The column has already been published online and on Sunday it comes out in the printed version of New York Times issued in 2 million copies. You can read it in full here.
