For the fifth time in a row, Dubrovnik will host the festival Ana in the city. The organizer of the festival is famous Croatian cellist Ana Rucner.
‘We will begin the Festival with a concert World Classic Croatian Beauties in the Park Orsula on 18th of June,’ said Ana.
On the second day of the festival, three brilliant young musicians will arrive in Dubrovnik – Briton Oliver Poole and Italians Mario Stefano and Luca Lucini. Guitarists and bandoneonists will present an impressive tango program. June 21st, which is also a World Music Day, will be marked with the concert know as Hello Summer – a free concert at 5 am which will be held in the amphitheater Excelsa. In the evening, another concert will be held in the Marin Drzic theater where Ana Runer will perform along with Mostar Symphony and the rhythm section with bouzouki and saz instruments. During the festival, there will be a rich repertoire of film music, world famous blockbusters as well. Ana in the City will have a humanitarian dimension – money gained during the event will be donated to a sick girl Mari Maltarić’, said Ana.
