Starting this Tourist Season: Dubrovnik and Istanbul Once Again Connected by Direct Flights

The director of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board Ana Hrnić and the director of the Turkish Airlines branch in Dubrovnik Sadrettin Tuncer met up at an important meeting to speak about the resumption of direct flights from Istanbul to Dubrovnik in the upcoming tourist season.

“The introduction of vaccines following a more favourable epidemiological situation presents a hope about the re-establishment of direct flights Istanbul – Dubrovnik at the beginning of the tourist season,“ director Tuncer emphasized.

They also discussed the marketing activities of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board within the Turkish Airlines promotional platform and cooperation in hosting journalists and influencers. As one of the world’s leading airlines, Turkish Airlines has about 360 aircraft flying to 127 countries, 319 cities and 323 airports. Turkish Airlines started flying to Dubrovnik daily during the summer months in 2016, introducing winter flights four times a week soon after.
