Local organisation DEŠA invites everyone to submit their traditional home made sweet snacks to find the best ones as part of their annual competition.
Mantala, kontonjata and candied almonds can be brought to Deša’s office in Lazareti from Monday December 3rd until Friday December 7th. The final day for entries is Monday December 10th from 8 am until 6 pm with the winners announced on December 14th.
This year’s manifestation has been organised in partnership with the Dubrovnik-Neretva County who have in cooperation with the DUNEA development agency organised the project ‘Identifying and commercializing traditional county produce’. The aim of the project is to encourage the production of such products for the tourist market.
