Techne Summit Dubrovnik in May

Entrepreneurs, join the roundtable discussion about the launch of the Mediterranean Business Angel Investment Network @ this year’s Techne Summit Dubrovnik, that will take place this May, a two-day immersive experience that brings together investors, entrepreneurs and innovators from the Mediterranean entrepreneurial ecosystem. It features big conversations around how talent can employ technology to solve global challenges and achieve sustainable growth.

A unique feature of Techne Summit is that it debates the future right from the hearts of historic Mediterranean cities that have shaped world history and culture since antiquity. This is why last year’s edition in Alexandria brought together 6,000 attendees, 130 speakers, 80 investors, 230 startups and more than 66 partners all from 25 different countries.

This year’s event in Dubrovnik will take place on May 3-4th at the Hotel Dubrovnik Palace.

A line-up of 20+ speakers from around the world will take the stage to interpret trends, debunk myths, and share inspiring stories. Under the overarching themes of Technology. Innovation. Talent , we will be addressing pressing topics such as the Future of Money, How we can Blockchain to Build Smart Cities and Will the Next Unicorn will Come From EU?

Partners include: Puzl Coworking from Bulgaria, Startup Zagreb from Croatia, Cleantech Arabia from Egypt, and Spark from Montenegro. Exclusive to this year’s event – Roundtable to discuss the launch of the Mediterranean Business Angel Investment Network.

This year’s Techne Summit Dubrovnik will be the first conversation regarding the launch of The Mediterranean Business Angel Investment Network, the first organisation of its type.

An initiative by Alex Angels, supported by Endeavor Egypt & Greece, “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit” (GIZ) on behalf of the German Government, HIVOS Impact Investment, African Business Angel Network (ABAN), and COIN (MCIT), MBAN will unite Business Angel Networks, Groups and Funds, as well as individual Angel Investors from across the region. MBAN aims to expands its scope and support investors and startups and to remove barriers to trade across all Mediterranean countries, both from the EU, North Africa & The Middle East.
