The 75th Dubrovnik Summer Festival Officially Opened

With the traditional raising of the Libertas flag accompanied by the verses of Gundulić’s Hymn to Liberty in front of St. Blaise’s Church, the jubilee 75th Dubrovnik Summer Festival was ceremoniously opened.

This year’s opening ceremony was directed by Paolo Tišljarić and featured the Festival Drama Ensemble, the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra conducted by Valentin Egel, mezzo-soprano Dubravka Šeparović Mušović, the Libertas Choir, the Dubrovnik Chamber Choir, the Academic Choir Pro musica Mostar, the Blasius Choir, the Konavle Folk Choir, the Linđo Folklore Ensemble, members of the Croatian National Theatre Ballet in Zagreb, the “Step ‘n Jazz” Dance Studio, the Kolarin Drama Club, the “Dubrovnik Coastal Weddings” Association – Upper Villages of Dubrovnik, the Stjepan Radić Cultural Club, and the Marko Marojica Cultural Club.

More than 70 drama, music, dance, folklore, and other programs will be performed at various ambient locations in the city from July 10 to August 25, 2024, as part of the 75th Dubrovnik Summer Festival. For more information, visit Dubrovnik Summer Festival.
