Leading travel agency Thomas Cook/Neckerman presented its summer 2013 calendar in Dubrovnik this morning. The travel agent in cooperation with the Croatian National Tourist Board chose Dubrovnik as the host of its annual four day conference of German journalists where its new offer for the 2013 season is showcased.
At Monday’s press conference, Croatian Deputy Minister for Tourism, Oleg Valjalo presented the agency’s employee of the year award to Thomas Cook Board President, Peter Frankhauser.
According to Jelka Tepsic of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board events such as this are of great importance to the City allowing visiting journalists the opportunity to become familiar with Dubrovnik as a destination.
This year’s program will be run from October 28th to 31st, with the emphasis on the Croatian tourism offer as a host country of the meeting.
