US television presenter Joel Barish arrived in Dubrovnik on Wednesday together with his cameraman David Letklewicz and brother journalists from Japan, Sunga and Yonga Park. Joel was also joined by Vanda Sagovac from Croatian deaf association ‘World of Silence’ and translator/ sign language expert Renata Hrsan.
Joel’s travel show, No Barriers, sees the deaf presenter travel all over the world in search of incredible stories and people and deaf culture. The show offers a unique perspective that only a deaf person can offer. The team wil be in Croatian until May 28th and will visit Zagreb, Karlovac, Pula, Split Plitvice National Park and Krka National Park.
Following their visit to the Old Town, and walk around the city walls, the team carried on to Ston where they went oyster harvesting.
