Soon, All the City Beaches Will Be Nice and Clean
The City of Dubrovnik is cleaning, refurbishing and arranging main city beaches for the season, as they wrote on their official web page.
The most significant works were carried out in the area of Sveti Jakov beach (St. Jacob) – repairing of the stairs (yeas, many of them, but worth it!) that lead to the beach. Concreting of the passage and platoon was also done these days.
On Šulić beach, near the City Walls, there was a pebbles and rocks settling, as well as on the beaches in Lozica and Brsečine, on the bathing-house of an ‘ex-ambulance’ in Mokošica and at the Priježba in Luka Šipan.
On the beaches Danče and under Đivović there will be some concrete works, painting of the protective fence and handrails very soon. The City of Dubrovnik will continue to do so on all the beaches under their care.
