José Feliciano the greatest living guitarist will play in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik will come again into focus of Croatian and European attention at the end of this summer. José Feliciano a world acclaimed musician, the best contemporary guitar player will play at two concerts in Dubrovnik at the end of September.

A big concert will be held in front of the cathedral accompanied by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra scheduled for 27th September, while the exclusive VIP concert hosted by Dubrovnik Sun Gardens company will be held on Friday, 26th September, 2014.
José Feliciano, acclaimed by music critics as ‘The greatest living guitarist’, will be the main star of the fourth Dubrovnik International Wine & Jazz Festival which will be held from 25th until 28th September. José Feliciano was born blind in Puerto Rico being the first Latin American to capture the English music market. Among his greatest hits are ‘Che serà’, the song performed in 1971 in San Remo when he conquered the European market, and ‘Feliz Navidad’, one of the most frequently performed Holiday Season songs to this day.
José Feliciano, the international music legend, guitarist and singer, many-times Grammy lauerate will be playing at two concerts in Dubrovnik. The main concert of Dubrovnik International Wine & Jazz Festival, under the auspices of the City of Dubrovnik, will take place on 27th September accompanied by the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and conducted by maestro Michael Kissinger; the concert is dedicated to the local citizens and international audience.
On 26th September Dubrovnik Sun Gardens as a general sponsor organizes an exclusive concert and the main Festival event VIP concert in Sun Garden ‘JAZZ IT UP with José Feliciano!’ that will bring together a number of prominent names as well as hotel partners and sponsors.
Along with the concert performed by José Feliciano on Saturday, on Sunday, 28th September the final Dubrovnik International Wine & Jazz concert will be held in the Rector’s Palace. Also, this year’s Dubrovnik International Wine & Jazz concerts will be featuring exhibitions by Dubrovnik visual artists, as well as wine tasting offered by the famous wine-makers from the Dubrovnik region.
Along with the last year’s Bryan Ferry Concert, this year’s music spectacle with José Feliciano at Dubrovnik International Wine & Jazz Festival points out Dubrovnik on the map of interesting European September events, during a very intense tourist season month and affirms the attractiveness of Dubrovnik for a late summer and early autumn vacation.
