Famous duet from Dubrovnik, Buco&Srđan bring back memories in concert

In a concert full of emotions, memories of old love, night walks and Dubrovnik as it used to be long time ago Buco&Srđan celebrated their 40 years of performing.

Fort Revelin terrace was full to the very last seat, 600 tickets were sold, and the lucky ones enjoyed the concert standing, because all the tickets were sold out. The legendary duet opened their two-hour concert by their famous song Zelenci, and continued with Zrikavci, Margareta, Cvijeta, and Elegija… The hostesses of the concert were Ana Brbora Hum, a radio hostess and their friend who remembered the days Buco&Srđan started singing, and the actress Jelena Perčin.

Buco&Srđan invited to the stage the band Sigma, and vocal group Maestrali, as well as Buco’s son Josip (Đosi) who sang Besane noći accompanied by Đivo Brčić on the guitar.

– I am not a man of many words and I will repeat what I said in our concert 10 years ago. Thank you very much, Buco&Srđan would not mean a lot without you. We would sing to ourselves in a room, said Buco to the audience.

The famous duet from Dubrovnik sang the well known Paul Simons’ The Boxer as well as Lula starog kapetana, and for the encore they performed Kad se nasmiješ, a song Buco dedicated to his granddaughter Mara.

The concert was actually a charity one; all the funds are going to the non-profit association Veliko srce malom srcu.
