Don’t Miss Night At The Museum!

Dubrovnik Museums traditionally participate in the ‘Museum Night’ with a rich program which takes place in four different locations: in Rector’s Palace, the granary ‘Rupe’, Saint John’s Fort and Revelin Fort.
The program begins on the 30th of January at 6 p.m. in Rector’s Palace with a workshop for children titled ‘Little School of Architecture – Dubrovnik 2020’, as well as expert guidance through permanent and temporary exhibitions at all locations. The central event, a presentation of the picture book ‘In the Republic’s time machine’, Dubrovnik Museums’ new edition from the collection of Pavlin and Đivov time machine, will be held in the atrium of Rector’s Palace after the opening events earlier in the evening. Lectures, presentations, video screenings and workshops will follow, while the end of the program is planned in the old granary ‘Rupe’ and will include mingling, music and refreshments. The winners of the Dubrovnik Museums contest, which is organised every year as part of this event, will be drawn here during the closing event. Special discounts on Dubrovnik Museums’ souvenirs and publications will be offered in the museum shop located at Rector’s Palace.
