The traditional Candlemass Dinner hosted by the City of Dubrovnik took place at the Revelin Fortress tonight, the eve of the feast day of St.Blaise. The dinner was attended by local politicians and prominent figures from local businesses and public life.
The dinner marks the end of the first day of the festivities to celebrate Dubrovnik’s patron saint’s feast day.
The recent recipients of the City of Dubrovnik Award were joined by Croatia’s President, Ivo Josipovic. Funds raised from the dinner will be donated to a de-mining charity.
