New York Times Travel Show: Tourists love Dubrovnik and Croatia

New York was the host of the New York Times Travel Show, where the Tourist Board of Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the city of Dubrovnik exhibited together. Travel show had 14 pavilions where 500 exhibitors from 150 countries were presented. This year at NY Times Travel Show Croatia was exceptionally represented. At the panel called ‘The Hottest Undiscovered Destinations in Europe’ it was revealed that Croatia is one of the new destinations that tourists would like to visit. In continuation of show, Croatia was once again named one of the ten most desirable European countries.
Furthermore, Croatia was presented at a business workshop held for American tourism professionals, organised by the representative office of the Croatian Tourist Board in New York.
On the last day of the fair, Dubrovnik Tourist Board and the Zagreb Tourist Board prepared two presentations where they declared winners of the vacation trip to Croatia. Namely, Beverly Jackey and Kevin Muller won three nights at the Hotel 5 * in Zagreb, with a three-day Zagreb Card and organised tours; five nights at the hotel ‘Dubrovnik Palace’ in Dubrovnik and five nights at the Hotel Rixos Libertas – also in Dubrovnik. In addition was a three-day Dubrovnik Card and dinner in the restaurant Kopun. Both awards are for two people and can be used during this year. The prize also includes plane tickets from Zagreb to Dubrovnik.
