The Golden Kuna award of the Croatian Chamber of Economy – County Chamber of Dubrovnik is granted to the Dubrovnik Airport in category of large-sized companies, Montmontaža-Greben in category of medium-sized companies and Globtour in category of small-sized companies.
The ceremony was held in hotel Cavtat. Also the Golden Kuna award for long tradition of successful business and contribution to Croatian economy was presented to Blato 1902 from Blato for their 110th anniversary, Vodovod Dubrovnik for their 60th anniversary and Dubrovnik Airport for their 50th anniversary.
County Chamber of Dubrovnik has been giving annual awards since 1995 on behalf of the Croatian Chamber of Economy presented to encourage the continuity of successful business. The Chamber established the award Golden Kuna in 1997 to recognize the most successful companies and individuals for excellent business and contribution in the economy of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
A number of candidates are disqualified from competing for the Golden Kuna award. These include all public, municipal companies and companies which ended the previous year with a loss.
