Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra announces their next concert on the repertoire of the International Music Festival ‘Dubrovnik in Late Summer’ tonight at 9 pm at Rector’s Palace.
The String Chamber Orchestra of Dubrovnik Simphony orchestra performes with violinists Đana Kahriman and Dmitry Sinkovsky.
Concertmaster of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, Đana Kahriman, performes with the Orchestra since the age of 8, and up until today she performed with the Zagreb Philharmonic, the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the National Television and many more. In 2015 she was awarded with the ‘Stjepan Sulek’ award for the performance of Piazzolla’s Four Seasons on closing of the 64th Dubrovnik Summer Festival, where she perofrmed with the String Orchestra of the Croatian Musical Youth and maestro Pavel Zajcev.
The dynamic Russian violin virtuoso, Dmitry Sinkovsky, studied at the prestigious Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, after which he received numerous awards at major competitions – from Premio BONPARTE in Italy to Bach Competition in Leipzig, Musica Antiqua in Bruges, Telemann Competition in Magdeburg and many more.
Sinkovsky has also perfected his other talent – countertenor, so today, he often performes the roles of famous operas, cantatas and oratorios in his performances, weather in Europe or the whole world.

Ticket prices are from 100 to 400 Kuna, and can be purchased online through the website of the simphony orchestra www.dso.hr, but also in the office, from 9am to 2 pm, in the agency Perla Adriatica on Ploče, in the gift shop Dubravka, the cultural center Luža and at the entrance one hour before the concert.
