Young Dubrovnik tennis star Ana Konjuh has qualified for the quarter final of the junior girls’ singles Australian Open in Melbourne. Konjuh also reached the quarter final of the junior doubles with Canadian Carol Zhao, their victory (6:2, 6:4) secures them a place in the semi final.
In her third round match against American Alexandra Kiick, Konjuh sailed to victory 6:0, 6:1 after a mere 41 minutes. Czech Barbora Krejcikova will be Ana’s opponent in the junior girls’ singles quarter final on Thursday at 11 am.
