In cooperation with the Association of Italian Sommeliers and magazine Bibenda, presentation of Croatian Italian wine merchants, restaurateurs, sommeliers, and journalists the presentation of Croatian wines was held at the Hotel Rome Cavalieri in Rome.
Presentation of Croatian wines was organized in two parts – the seminar / workshop with degustation of 11 wines, and discussion with Croatian wine producers. All the guest saw presentations of Croatian wine areas, and they met with the most important Croatian cultivars – Riesling, Istrian Malvasia and Plavac Mali, but also clusters from Krapinske Beline Velike (Heunisch Weiss and Gouais blanc).
Italians were delighted, compliments were also heard afterwards, when all people present have tasted many wines. They were able to try and hear about wines from Dubrovnik during a presentation organised by Neretva County and the Association Plavac Mali. As a part of this prestigious presentation there was also a degustation where guests were able to try Dingac – PZ Dingac from Potomje, Vines Rota – Rota Ltd. from Kuna on Peljesac, Matkovic Vines, romantic vine l’Amour, and vines Posip and Tribidarag.
