Famous Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage is still in Dubrovnik shooting scenes for his upcoming movie. The film crew moved to the Dubrovnik Art Gallery, not far from the previous filming site at Villa Šeherezada. The new scene of the ‘The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent’ in which Cage plays the lead role, takes place in the very atrium of this impressive building.
An impressive Porsche, driven by Cage and Pedro Pascal lying on the passenger seat, seemingly “wounded”, was caught entering the Art Gallery. As we find out, Cage’s Porsche seemed to have turned off while filming the scene.
The beauty of the Art Gallery, which was originally built from 1932 to 1939, as a representative family palace of the Dubrovnik shipowner Božo Banac, couldn’t have served as a better filming location.
