If you’re going to be in Dubrovnik over Christmas then Agrotourism Konavle’s ‘Scents of Christmas’ program of events will make your stay an unforgettable one. For the fifth year running the 6 day festival of all things Christmas and Konavle will take place, starting with a carol concert on December 23rd at the monastery of St. Blaise at 6 pm.
Without a doubt the festival’s most popular event is the green menestra cook off which will be held this year on December 30th at the Dom kulture in Cilipi. Teams from all over the area will compete fiercely for top prize, each with their own recipe for the green stew traditionally made around Christmas in the Dubrovnik region. Be sure not to miss this fantastic event with live music.
