WELCOME BACK TO PARADISE: Lokrum Island Opens For a New Season Starting April 8

The island of Lokrum will be open to visitors starting April 8, it was said from the Lokrum Nature Reserve this Thursday.

They also pointed out the new price list for the upcoming season.  Until April 30 of this year a 50 percent discount was granted on the prices of tickets, leases, and services of the Public Institution Lokrum Reserve.

A novelty in the price list is the introduction of an Annual pass of the 1st and 2nd category. All people with permanent residence in the City of Dubrovnik have the right to the 1st category pass, while the 2nd category pass can be owned by those who reside in other cities and municipalities of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. Children up to 16 years of age in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County are entitled to free transport and entry to the Reserve.

An important change in the price list for 2022 is the ticket price of the return boat ticket and a ticket to Lokrum Reserve. Those tickets are now combined into a single ticket for adults in the amount of 200 Kuna.

Users of the Dubrovnik Card will continue to have benefits having right to a 30 percent discount on the ticket price for adults with the presentation of the Ducard 7 days, and a 20 percent discount on the ticket price for adults with the presentation of the Ducard 3 days.

For all citizens of the Republic of Croatia, there is a discount using the ‘Mudrica’ (children’s) card for 3 categories –  a 10 percent discount for the 1st category, a 20 percent discount for the 2nd category and a 30 percent discount at the entrance to the reserve for the 3rd category.

The prices of the following ticket categories have not changed – the ticket for people with disabilities and students is still 30 Kuna, the ticket price for agencies for organized groups (minimum 10 people) is 150 Kuna, the ticket for children is 30 Kuna, voucher for 10 tickets in the amount of 800 Kuna and a return ship ticket Lokrum-Old City in the amount of 50 Kuna.

“As of this year, all tickets can be purchased through the website www.lokrum.hr. as well as at the points of sale of the Public Institution Lokrum Reserve located in Luža, the business premises of the Tourist Board of the City of Dubrovnik and Lugar’s House on Lokrum. The manner and time of submitting the request for the annual ticket will be published on the Facebook page and the website of the Public Institution Lokrum Reserve,” they pointed out from the Reserve.
